About Jackie Freed

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Jackie moved to the Outer Banks in 1977 with her family. She grew up here, graduating from Manteo High School and then attending VCU in Richmond. Initially licensed in 1988, Jackie Freed sold real estate for several years and was the top-ranked agent in her company when she took a hiatus to raise her son.

Having lived on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for more than 30 years, Jackie has superior knowledge of the area. Possessing a good dose of southern charm mixed with area knowledge, a willingness to work hard, and an open and honest approach, Jackie prides herself on building lasting client relationships.

A real estate investor herself, she has a good grasp for what it takes to go above and beyond accepted real estate service. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing at the beach, fishing, fishing and a little more fishing and, well, throw in horseback riding and skiing “at least until I get too old!”
